Last updated: July 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Achieva ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL). Achieva is a UAE-licensed online tutoring platform providing 1-on-1 tutoring from KG1 to Grade 12.
Information We Collect
When a parent/guardian books a trial class or contacts us, we collect: parent/guardian name, child's name, grade, curriculum, subject(s), preferred timing, and contact details (WhatsApp number, email, phone). Contact Form submissions also include any message sent.
Why We Collect It (Purpose & Legal Basis)
We process data to schedule and deliver sessions, match students with teachers, communicate with families, and process bank transfer payments. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit our booking or contact form, and the necessity of processing to perform our tutoring service.
Children's Data
Achieva's services are directed at students who are minors. All bookings, communications, and consents are made by the parent or legal guardian on the child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children without parental involvement.
Payment Data
Payments are made via direct bank transfer. We do not collect or store card numbers or banking credentials through our website; payment details are exchanged directly via WhatsApp or email.
Data Security & Your Rights
Under UAE PDPL, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Requests are handled within 30 days. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your child is enrolled, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes, after which it is securely deleted upon request or in the ordinary course of data hygiene.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
